We are Contemporary Furniture Center in CT, experts in running business specializing in contemporary furniture. We have been in the retail furniture business serving the tri- state area as well as New England since 2004. We have successfully built and grown our business generically, remained profitable, and avigated through one of the worst retail environments since the Great Depression. We have solid relationships with 30 different vendors and search the world for the freshest new looks and best prices by traveling to Las Vegas Market, High Point, European and China furniture markets. We have developed a proprietary point of sale software program which connects to our full service website. Because of our proprietary “smart” web engine, we capture all market data and this gives us an edge in purchasing product that we know our customers search for. We are ready to leverage this powerful model and have chosen to partner with existing retailers in our area to begin, and nationwide over time.

We are offering with NO FRANCHISE or NO LICENSING FEE, this program to 8 independently owned furniture retailers from Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We believe there is an under served and inefficient market that exists between a pure internet store and big chain retailer and we believe that this model will serve that market. We will leverage our experience, knowledge and skills to service and deliver our customers product that exceeds our competitors. It's time to act now and together.
Our goal:
To create a large and visible region wide chain of furniture design centers while maintaining the entrepreneurial feel to our businesses that we all love. In stages, we will roll out solutions to problems we all experience individually such as: marketing, management, negotiating with vendors, advertising, website updates, home delivery and much more. We intend to take these responsibilities off your plate so you can focus on sales.
Two part strategy:
1). First, we intend to correct the inefficiencies of running a small business by leverage of scale by forming a consortium. Our expenses will be greatly reduced as a percentage of our revenues and the leverage of our marketing budget greatly increased thus adding to your bottom line. As a group we can save on purchasing furniture, delivery and administrative
costs immediately and also create a new flow of web customers to you through our shared website.
2). Second, we intend to increase our market share for all our affiliates with aggressive marketing and advertising in our region. The success of this second stage is in large part dependent upon the economy however we feel that the worst is behind us.
Now is the time to act:
We have been developing this model for 2 years and started before the retail market crashed. We now believe this is the optimal time to join together and create value. We have delivered this message to stores in CT, MA, RI and ME and we have received 100% positive feedback. All of these stores are receiving this same invitation.
